This page describes what Bunchnote (“we,” “us”) collects when you use bunchnote.com, and what we do with it. It is written in plain language on purpose; if anything here is unclear, contact us at hello@bunchnote.com.

What we collect

  • Account information. If you sign in, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from Google — nothing else from your Google account.
  • What you send. The situation you describe, the arrangement you build, any written message, and any voice recording you choose to attach to a bouquet. We also store your timezone, so reminders arrive on the right day where you are.
  • People you save. If you add a contact, we store what you tell us about them: their name, how you describe your relationship, anything you write about what they are like or what is going on with them, flowers to avoid, things not to mention, and any email address or phone number you give us for them. This is information about somebody else. They have not agreed to anything with us, and we never contact them because you saved them — only because you sent them something.
  • Messages you paste in. If you choose to, you can paste messages you have written to a contact so that drafts sound like you. These are private messages between two people. They are visible only to you, never shown to the recipient, never used to train any model, and you can delete them at any time from the contact.
  • Dates you add. Birthdays, anniversaries and any other day you ask to be reminded about, which are also facts about other people.
  • Gifts you were sent. If you open a bouquet while signed in, or if one was delivered to an address you have verified, it is listed in your account so you can find it again.
  • Payment information. Payments and subscriptions are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number — Stripe handles that directly and gives us only a confirmation that a charge succeeded, along with the status of any subscription.
  • Usage analytics. We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how the product is used — pages viewed, and key actions like starting a bouquet or sending one. This is aggregate product usage, not sold or shared.
  • Device and log data. Standard web request information (IP address, browser type, timestamps) collected automatically by our hosting and analytics providers.

What goes to an AI model

Choosing the flowers and drafting a message are done by Google’s Gemini models. What is sent to them is the sentence you wrote, anything you have recorded about the contact it is for, and — if you added them — the messages you pasted to show how you write. The bouquet photograph is produced the same way.

Your voice recording is never sent to a model. Neither is your email address, your contact’s email address or phone number, or anything about your payments. We do not use anything you write to train models, and Google processes this on our behalf rather than for their own purposes.

We do not sell your data

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes. Information is shared only with the service providers who help us run Bunchnote — Stripe for payments, Google for sign-in, analytics and the AI models described above, Resend for email, Twilio if you ask us to deliver by text, and our hosting and storage providers — and only as needed for them to provide that service to us.

Advertising

We may use advertising pixels (for example, from Meta or Google) to measure the performance of ads that bring people to Bunchnote. Where these are active, they can record that you visited the site and took an action here, for the purpose of measuring and improving our own advertising — not for building a profile of you across other sites.

Recipient links

A sent bouquet is viewable at a private link. We do not require the recipient to have an account or to sign in to view it. Treat that link as you would a physical gift: anyone who has it can open it.

Delivering it for you

If you give us an email address for a contact, pressing send emails them the link along with your first line and your name. The preview screen tells you before you press it. Without an address, nothing is sent on your behalf — you get a link to pass on yourself, which is how most bouquets travel.

Where delivery by text message is available, the same applies, and anyone who replies STOP to one will never be texted by us again at that number, whoever saved it.

Reminders

If you add dates to your calendar we email you a few days beforehand, and a short summary on Mondays of what is coming up that week. Every one of those emails has a one-click link to turn them off, and turning them off does not delete your dates or your contacts.

How long we keep it, and deleting it

We retain account and bouquet data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account yourself, from your account page, without asking us. It takes effect immediately and we cannot reverse it.

Deleting removes your contacts, everything you recorded about them, any messages you pasted, your dates, and every bouquet you have sent that nobody kept — including its photographs, written messages and voice recordings. Their links stop working.

One thing survives, deliberately. If somebody you sent a bouquet to opened it while signed in, or it reached a verified address of theirs, it is in their account as something they kept. Those stay, and stay marked as being from you by the name you signed them with, because they are the other person’s keepsake rather than yours to remove. Everything connecting them to your account is deleted with the rest.

We may retain a limited amount of information where we are required to for tax, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

Bunchnote is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
